John and Amanda have spent the last 15 years dedicated to raising Belgian Malinois, supporting their incredible work in both civilian and military roles. While we continue to champion this amazing breed, we’re excited to follow our hearts and dive into a new adventure with the lovable Bernese Mountain Dog and their charming cousin, the Bernedoodle. These breeds bring a whole new level of affection and warmth—and with their friendly, easygoing nature, they’re a perfect fit for families seeking moderate activity and endless love. We can’t wait to share this joyful journey with you!

We have a deep passion for our dogs and are committed to responsible breeding practices that prioritize the continuation of strong genetic lines. We only proceed with breeding when there is sufficient interest, typically requiring deposits for approximately half of the litter. All of our dogs undergo comprehensive health testing, regardless of their pedigree or registration status.

In the event that a dog owner experiences a life change and can no longer care for their pet, we are committed to providing support and will gladly welcome the dog back into our care. Additionally, we actively support local and regional rescue organizations whenever possible and assist with the transport of rescue dogs nationwide.

These measures reflect our dedication to responsible breeding and helping to alleviate overcrowding in animal shelters.

Finally, at the heart of our mission is the “Hallhaus Hearts” program, through which we proudly donate one extraordinary canine each year to an individual or organization in need. These remarkable dogs go on to serve as assistance or therapy animals, bringing hope, comfort, and life-changing support to everyone they touch. As our breeding program continues to grow, so too will our ability to increase the number of puppies we donate—extending our reach and impact even further.
